The story of The Marriage of Figaro centers around a wedding. However, the show itself is enhanced in this traditional staging by the beautiful detailed costumes from the late 1700s. For the illustration, I drew the main character Susanna in a period dress reminiscent of a wedding cake. The pencil sketch was vectorized in Illustrator and given a parchment background to evoke the traditional theme as well as a letter that features prominently in the story.
