Mid-Gulf Shipping Company, Inc. was established in 1966 by Captain Peder S. Toft, providing Quality Maritime Logistics Services to facilitate Vessel, Equipment, and Personnel movements to and from US Ports.

Mid-Gulf Shipping was in need of a website to showcase their varied services and wanted something that could be maintained internally. The company also was in need of an updated corporate logo based on the one that they had previously been using.
